The 1st model school of Athens is one the country’s most historic schools. It was founded in 1834. In an initiative to contribute to the legacy of such an emblematic establishment I proposed an integral design approach to the school’s identity. Based on the profound connection to the historic district of Plaka and Athenian history, a representation of the Athenian owl from the Tetradrachm was used in combination with the GFS Neoellenic font.
The color palette was inspired by neoclassical architecture.
